What sizes are the sheds?
We have a wide variety of spaces from 1.5m x 1.5m to 9m x 3m size units.
What if I choose the wrong size?
With John Cook Real Estate Self Storage you have the ‘risk free’ reserve. If it’s not the right size when you arrive we’ll find you a suitable alternative.
How much does a storage unit cost?
Storage unit prices vary depending on size. Just click on Pricing under Storage on our website to see our current prices or alternatively call our office to speak to one of our team.
What are the sign up costs?
Rent is paid 2 in advance & when moving in you will be required to pay 4 weeks rent as a refundable bond and a $17.00 lease fee. Besides that, you only pay for what you use & we refund your deposit with all unused rent when you move out.
Who else has access?
With John Cook Real Estate Storage you control the access & you keep the key. Only those you provide access to will be given access.
How long can I keep the shed?
The spaces have no fixed period. This provides you with increased flexibility. You can move in or move out any time you like. When it’s time to move out you just need to provide 14 days written notice.
How do I start a storage agreement?

Are my goods insured?
No. While we do everything we can, there can be no guarantees in life. For this reason, if you want your goods insured you can choose to get insurance through a company of your choice.
How often can I access my storage unit?
You can access any time you like 7 days a week between 7am-7pm.
What kind of security is offered?
The storage facilities have invested heavily in physical security systems & security procedures to add to the security of your belongings while in storage. Systems are slightly different from site to site however the features include access control systems, individually alarmed spaces, secure fences, 24 hour security cameras, lighting & perimeter fencing.
What is the access like?
Our driveways & drive-around facilities offer easy access to vehicles, trucks & trailers. All our units are ground level, store your goods & then lock it away with your own key. You keep the key & no-one else has access to your space.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment methods – Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS, EZIDEBIT, Direct Debit, Mastercard, Visa.
